A suicide bomber blew himself up building entrance Ministries of Foreign affairs of Afghanistan in Kabul today, killing and injuring about 20 people, informed an AFP officer at the scene.
“I witnessed the presence of approximately 20-25 victims. I don’t know how many of them were killed or wounded. I was waiting in the car when I saw a man with a Kalashnikov on his shoulder and a bag. He drove in front of my car and a few seconds later there was a loud bang. I saw this man blow himself up.” driver Jamshed Karimi told AFP.

Footage from the scene several bodies are visiblelying on the street. According to APEKabul police spokesman Khalid Zadran confirmed the explosion, saying that the explosion, “unfortunately, led to casualties. Security teams arrived in the area,” he tweeted.
According to a police spokesman, the attack took place around 16:00 local time (13:30 Greek). The Taliban say that since returning to power in August 2021 years they improved security in the country. But there have been multiple explosions in recent months, most of which have been claimed by the Islamic State of Khorasan.
