The A21 Child Benefit Online Platform will be open until Sunday, January 15, and until then, those who qualify can apply for 2023.
As indicated GUARDIANSHIP in its announcement, the platform is available to beneficiaries who have not yet submitted an A21 application for 2023, and to those citizens who have started creating an A21 application but have not completed their application.

Benefits will be paid on the last business day of January 2023and the allowance will be increased by one and a half monthly payments, that is, emergency financial assistance for applicants until December 20, 2022.

The amount due is calculated based on the dependent children claimed on the 2022 Form A21 and the total household income that the beneficiaries had in the 2021 tax year.

- Family with 2 parents and 2 children with an annual income of 28,000 euros. Family equivalence scale: 1 + 1/2 + 1/4 + 1/4 = 2. The equivalent income is: €28,000/2 = €14,000. Thus, the family belongs to income scale C and will receive an allowance of 56 euros per month.
- Family with 2 parents and 1 child with an annual income of 26,000 euros. Family equivalence scale: 1 + 1/2 + 1/4 = 1.75. Therefore, the equivalent income is: 26,000 euros / 1.75 = 14,857 euros. Thus, the family belongs to income scale C and will receive an allowance of 28 euros per month.
- Family with 2 parents and 2 children with an annual income of 18,800 euros. Family equivalence scale: 1 + 1/2 + 1/4 + 1/4 = 2. Thus, the equivalent income is: 18,800 euros / 2= 9,400 euros. Thus, the family belongs to income scale B and will receive an allowance of 84 euros per month.
- Family with 2 parents and 3 children with an annual income of 13,000 euros. Family equivalence scale: 1 + 1/2 + 1/4 + 1/4 + 1/4 = 2.25. Therefore, the equivalent income is: 13,000 euros / 2.25 = 5,777 euros. Thus, the family belongs to income scale A and will receive 280 euros per month.
- Family with 2 parents and 2 children with an annual income of 12,000 euros. Family equivalence scale: 1 + 1/2 + 1/4 + 1/4 = 2. Therefore equivalent income: €12,000/2= €6,000. Thus, the family belongs to income scale A and will receive 140 euros per month.
- Family with 2 parents and 4 children with an annual income of 14,500 euros. Family equivalence scale: 1 + 1/2 + 1/4 + 1/4 + 1/4 + 1/4 = 2.5. Therefore, the equivalent income is 14,500 euros / 2.5 = 5,800 euros. The family belongs to income scale A and will receive 420 euros per month.
- Family with 2 parents and 4 children with an annual income of 24,500 euros. Family equivalence scale: 1 + 1/2 + 1/4 + 1/4 + 1/4 + 1/4 = 2.5. Therefore, the equivalent income is 24,500 euros / 2.5 = 9,800 euros. The family belongs to income scale B and will receive 252 euros per month.
- Family with 2 parents and 5 children with an annual income of 27,000 euros. Family equivalence scale: 1 + 1/2 + 1/4 + 1/4 + 1/4 + 1/4 + 1/4 = 2.75. Therefore, the equivalent income is 27,000 euros / 2.75 = 9818 euros. The family belongs to income scale B and will receive 336 euros per month.

- Incomplete families with 1 child and an annual income of 9,000 euros. Family equivalent scale: 1 + 1/2 = 1.5. Therefore, the equivalent income is 9,000 euros / 1.5 = 6,000 euros. Thus, the family belongs to income scale A and will receive 70 euros per month.
- Single-parent families with 2 children and an annual income of 10,500 euros. Family equivalence scale: 1 + 1/2 + 1/4 = 1.75. Therefore, the equivalent income is 10,500 euros / 1.75 = 6,000 euros. Thus, the family belongs to income scale A and will receive 140 euros per month.
