A traffic accident with three victims occurred on the night of Monday, from 25 to 26 December, on the old national route of Athens-Thessaloniki, near Chalcedon.
The car, which was driven by an elderly man, left the road around 20:00, causing crashed at full speed in the concrete fence of the hotel. The driver himself and two women who were riding in the car were injured in the accident.
The victims were taken to the AHEPA hospital in Thessaloniki, while the Chalcedonian traffic police are conducting a preliminary investigation into the incident.
According to emvolos.gr, all three returning from a party and there is a possibility that the driver fell asleep at the wheel (or he was simply “dizzy” and zakemaril).
