This Christmas we are again enjoying the festive atmosphere in cities and towns. The country’s authorities made sure that even during the crisis, residents and guests, both old and young, feel at least a little happier and “shrouded in care.”
And this festive season, Athens has become brighter, more festive and more colorful than ever! Throughout the capital, the atmosphere of joy and celebration spreads from the center to the periphery with impressive garlands, Christmas trees, colorful lights, inspiring music, as well as “fairy houses” installed in squares and squares.
The squares and streets of Athens are decorated with garlands. The entire urban infrastructure has turned into “holiday decorations”. The trees are decorated with festive illuminations, on houses and shopping centers you can see luminous “stars”, “rain”, traditional boats and giant Christmas balls, which makes the city magical day and night.

A total of 120 km of garlands – this is the total length of the LED Christmas lights that set the tone for the holiday. Impressive and iridescent trees and metallic “air” structures decorate 35 squares in all seven municipal districts, and 6,000 hanging decorative structures and 60 km of LED pipes (imitators of rain, drops flowing down “icicles”) make Athens even brighter!
At the same time, hundreds of Christmas “aleksandrins” and multi-colored cyclamens were planted in squares, parks and on the streets of the city, giving color, beauty and beautiful images to the clean streets of the capital. On Patision and Alexandras avenues, in Petralona and Karaiskaki square, “festive” flower beds were planted.

A colorful, bright and radiant backdrop for the Athens Christmas holidays is 38 days, 129 neighborhoods, 10 Christmas villages, 120+ activities for the whole family, 30+ musical performances, a Christmas market on the square.
