Man’s body found in Turkovun rocks

The man’s body was found on December 18 in the Turkovun area, which led to the mobilization of the authorities. According to police, the body was discovered around 4 pm by a passer-by in the old quarries.

The police and fire brigade arrived at the scene and organized an operation to retrieve the body.

The body of a man found in Turkovuna in Galatsi has been identified as 37-year-old Panagiotis Chronopoulos, whose disappearance was announced yesterday by the Smile of a Child organization.

The evening TV show “The Light in the Tunnel” with Angelica Nicoluli was devoted to the case of the 37-year-old. As stated on the official website of the presenter, “an autopsy is expected to shed light on the causes of his death with the first signs that exclude the possibility of criminal activity.”

The police opened a case into the death of a man. Reasons and details have not yet been released.
