An absolute record for the number of daring robberies has been set! The armed robber in Thessaloniki first targeted a mini market and three pharmacies, and then two OPAP agencies and another pharmacy.
All four attacks in Ampelokipi took place on Tuesday, December 13, within half an hour, from 20:00 to 20:30, and were carried out according to the same scenario, writes thestival.gr. But this criminal was not enough. Having moved to another district of Thessaloniki, from west to east, he robbed two OPAP agencies in Metamorphosis and Metropolitan Kydonia streets in 20 minutes, and then a pharmacy in Pontus.
Despite the unique efficiency, the robber was detained and interrogated. There is an investigation of his “exploits”, their number is being established. In connection with the available information, two more people were detained in the case, who are suspected of complicity.
The case is being investigated by the property crimes department of the Thessaloniki Security Directorate.
