An attempt to “blow off” European Commissioner Margaritis Schinas and a message to those who “took money” from Qatar that the European Commission will “cover” them was sent by Commission President Ursula von der Leyen through her press secretary Eric Mamer. “The president supports the entire panel of commissioners,” he said, when asked about reports nailing commission vice president Margaritis Schinas for making exactly the same pro-Qatar statements as Eva Kylie.
