The intimidation of diplomats continues – the Ukrainian embassy in Greece received a blood-stained postal item identical to letters sent to Ukrainian diplomatic missions in other countries.
About the incident informs “European Truth”, referring to the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleg Nikolenko. The parcel, the 28th in a row for Ukrainian diplomatic missions, arrived on the morning of December 12. Nikolenko says:
“The sender’s address is the same as on the other envelopes that were previously received by Ukrainian embassies and consulates: a Tesla car dealership in the German town of Sindelfingen. The Greek police have begun investigative actions. We also expect the German law enforcement to speed up the investigation.”
In total, 33 cases of threats to Ukrainian diplomats in 17 countries have already been recorded, including 1 attempted terrorist attack, two reports of mining, one case of vandalism, one written threat and 28 bloody packages.
Recall, on November 30, the Embassy of Ukraine in Madrid received a suspicious package, in which an explosive device went off after opening, it was in an envelope. The letter was addressed to the ambassador, but it was opened by the commandant of the embassy on the territory of the diplomatic mission. Fortunately, he managed to react, the explosion slightly injured his finger and stunned him. A number of recipients in Spain received similar parcels.
