Spain: another bomb in a letter addressed to a weapons company for Ukraine

On the same day, letters with explosive devices were sent to two Spanish addresses – to the Ukrainian embassy and to a company producing weapons for Ukraine.

The 10 x 15 cm package delivered to Instalaza was labeled as coming from Ukraine, SER reported, citing a local official. Both packages had the same sender and the same email address. Spanish police are investigating the connection between the two incidents.

The National Judicial Collegium of Spain opened preliminary proceedings on the explosion of a “mail bomb” in the Ukrainian embassy, ​​qualifying the incident as a terrorist attack. The Spanish National Postal Service is cooperating with the investigation. The package, delivered on November 30 to the Embassy of Ukraine in Madrid, was addressed to Ambassador Sergei Pogoreltsev. It was opened by the suspicious commandant of the embassy.
