The government is considering a “Food Pass” plan to subsidize needy households in the first quarter of the new year. According to the Mega channel, this is a voucher for products from the “consumer basket”. In this case, the amount of the subsidy, presumably, will reach 100 euros.
The voucher will be granted according to strict criteria, depending on marital status and the amount of annual income. Priority will be given to families with children, depending on their number there will be a corresponding increase in the subsidy. Final decisions on the Food Pass are expected to be made in early 2023.
