Accident in Vouliagmeni: an 80-year-old man drove over a kilometer "oncoming lane"

While driving in the opposite direction, a car driven by an 80-year-old man collided with another car and overturned it.

Fortunately, all the participants in the accident are alive, but their vehicles are clearly “unlucky”. The incident occurred at 23:00 on Wednesday, November 16, on the section from the intersection of Vulyagmenis Avenue with Kalimnu Street to Kneza Pavla Street (Πρίγκηπος Παύλου). More than one and a half kilometers, an inattentive driver drove in the oncoming lane, and then “head-on” collided with another car, turning it upside down. The unfortunate driver’s own car turned into a pile of scrap metal that cannot be restored, writes newsbeast.gr.

However, all the participants, fortunately, are alive – an 80-year-old man and his wife were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, and the 40-year-old driver of the second car independently got out of his crumpled car, breaking the glass.
