The e-supermarket Wolt Market is joining the “family shopping cart” program starting this Wednesday October 16th.
This was announced by the Minister of Development and Investment Adonis Georgiadis in his message on social networks, and also attached a corresponding letter from the company, announcing that the basket will include 57 products, most of which are brands.
The letter notes, among other things, that the company has begun cutting prices on key consumer products as of October 1 and specifically states that this action covers “1,500 commodity codes such as dairy products, pasta, fruits, vegetables, detergents, as well as goods of other categories in all Wolt Market stores in Athens, Thessaloniki and Patras.
Reference
In 2021, the Finnish startup Wolt Market Greece opened in Greece and has continued to develop dynamically in Greece since then. Wolt Market marks the company’s entry into the retail market with a new modern shopping model that seeks to meet the ever-increasing need of citizens for immediate delivery of a wide range of available options. Greece is the first country outside of Finland where Wolt implements this model. Thus, the Greek market became a reference point for the further development of the Wolt Market in other countries.
