This year’s heating oil subsidy application platform opens on Monday, November 7 on the website of the Independent Government Revenue Authority (AADE).
It is expected that 1.3 million residents will benefit from the subsidy, 90% of whom will receive 800 euros, while the remaining 10% from areas that usually experience particularly severe winters (the north of the country and the mountainous regions) will receive up to 1000 euros.
“Recruits” switching from natural gas back to fuel oil will receive 1,600 euros as part of the government’s incentive program to reduce dependence on Russian gas.
The subsidy will be distributed in three parts: in December, February and April.
The application platform closes on December 9, 2022.
