One of the biggest criminals interested in pornographic material with minors is the writer Vassilis Papafeodorou.
The author of children’s literature, who is in custody in the Tripoli prison, is considered to be one of the first persons on the list of persons involved in the child pornography trafficking cases. The “shameful” list, in which the 55-year-old man was featured prominently, was formed from the huge number of files found in his house, as well as the available “electronic traces” of his online activity, recorded using special programs (search for CPS files (CHILD PROTECTION SYSTEM) with child pornography.
According to the Free Press, Vassilis Papatheodorou, who said in his apology that he allegedly “uploaded files in the context of research for his next book” (which investigators did not believe for a minute), is considered by the police to be one of the 8 main criminals involved in buying files from violent scenes of child abuse.
According to the same information, the famous and respected children’s book author allegedly searched and “downloaded” this kind of material since 2016. The man, trying to hide his “electronic footprints”, used up to 284 different Internet protocol addresses so that his geographic location could not be identified.
The author of children’s novels is now in a cell with 19 other prisoners in Tripoli prison after his arrest on October 18 for possession of hardcore child pornography.
