Another protest march against the creation of a metro station in Exarchia ran into a police cordon. Clashes with the police took place at the gathering place, which became the Propylaea (University), and on the streets of Exarchia, where the demonstrators tried to escape, pursued by the police.
According to eyewitnesses, the incidents began when the police tried to block the road to their protest march. Anarchists rushed with batons at the MAT fighters, in response, the police used batons, tear gas and stun grenades.
