A 17-year-old boy was shot dead in Mandra, Western Attica.

A 17-year-old teenager was shot dead and his body was found with a fatal head injury in the village of Mandra, western Attica.

The body was discovered by a passer-by at 5 p.m. Thursday. A bullet casing was found next to the body.

According to preliminary information, the victim was shot in the back of the head.

Police are looking for the victim’s 14-year-old brother, with whom the 17-year-old went to herd sheep.

Alpha TV reported that the father sent two brothers to herd sheep for the family business, and it was the father who found the body.

The family began to worry about the children when they didn’t return home before nightfall and didn’t answer their calls, other media reported.

In the area where the boy’s body was found, there were abandoned factories and industrial facilities.

It is reported that the investigation in the homicide department is in full swing.

UPDATE: The missing 14-year-old brother was found by police and is testifying late on Thursday.
