Explosion near the home of a pedophile accused of repeatedly raping a young girl in Sepolia

Early this morning, near the house of pedophile and pimp Ilias Mihos in Agios Panteleimonas, an explosive device consisting of gas cartridges went off.

According to CNN Greece, the explosion caused minor damage to the entrance to the apartment building where he lived, and the 53-year-old defendant himself is currently in custody at the prison in Greven. He is charged with a long list of articles from the Criminal Code:

• repeated rape of a minor, which is characterized as abuse of a minor under the age of 14 by a person who repeatedly receives the services of a minor;
• persistent abuse of a minor under the age of 14;
• child pornography – acquisition, storage, distribution. Production of pornographic materials associated with the use of minors aged 12-15 years;
• pimping a person under 15 years of age using electronic means of communication, with an offer to pay money or the promise of payment in money or in the form of some kind of reward;
• violence against a minor with whom the person who committed the crime has an employment relationship;
• human trafficking;
• gun law violation.

As our publication wrote, during his apology, Ilias Mikhos said that we could not talk about rape – he had sexual intercourse with a minor with her consent.

Meanwhile, the mother of a teenage girl, detained and transferred to Korydallos Prison on 17 October on charges of aggravated pimping, fears for his life. Konstantinos Varsamis, President of the Federation of Corrections Officers, says:

“Isn’t that reasonable? How can we know the reaction of other female prisoners? The prisoner is under protected status due to the severity of the offense and due to the fact that it received publicity in the media. This is a problem that has shaken the entire Greek society and will certainly affect other prisoners. It is logical that the prison administration took these measures so that it would not have a chance to get anything from other prisoners.”

And the investigation is in full swing, day after day, revealing more and more names of people involved in this dirty story. The authorities have at their disposal electronic devices and conversations of Ilias Mihos with potential rapists through the profile of the girl, which he created on a dating application.

To date identified 367 conversations with users who had 6-digit IDs. In 71 of them disgusting dialogues are recorded. Ilias Mihos allegedly asked for between 50 and 230 euros, urging strangers to contact a 12-year-old child by phone or through an encrypted application. In total, the pimp created 51 profiles of the minor between May and July, and authorities expect more arrest warrants to emerge as a result of their review.
