BBC: British pedophile who admitted his guilt goes to rest in Kos

A British pedophile who has pleaded guilty to sexually abusing two girls comes on holiday to the Greek island of Kos.

Briton Matthew Thomson, 48, is set to fly to the island of Kos for a week-long vacation, despite the fact that he faces a prison term, according to the BBC. After Thomson pleaded guilty to the misdemeanors in court on Wednesday, Oct. 19, his lawyer said “the client had pre-booked a holiday on Kos that he intends to visit.”

According to the defender of the pedophile, M. Thomson was supposed to fly to the Dodecanese island today (20/10/22) and return on October 27th. The lawyer told the court that he had informed his client about this, also reminding him that he would have to sign a confession of guilt (of committing a crime of sexual abuse of children) at the police station before crossing the border and going abroad.

After the statement, the judge told the defendant: “You pleaded guilty and, of course, you will receive the relevant document (court decision) in due time, when you will be sentenced.” “You were only released on bail because you were honest,” the judge said. The judge said he had conditional on Thomson’s release on bail for him to report to Barnsley police on 28 October to prove he had returned to the UK.
