To reduce the load on the power system during the most intense peak hours, and not only, first of all, it is necessary to change the approach and time of using the most energy-intensive devices. On each of them, the manufacturer indicates the power consumption data. Among the leaders are a hob (7.5 kWh), a drying machine (3.3 kWh), an oven (2.5-4 kWh). It is enough to reduce their use or turn them on outside of peak hours.

How to save money on home appliances

A little about the boiler. Its power consumption is from 1.5 kWh to 2.5 kWh. Experts recommend heating water immediately before use:

“If the boiler is on 24/7, it significantly increases energy consumption, and hot water is still used only when necessary. For example, to take a shower or wash dishes.”

Sometimes it is useful to replace the vacuum cleaner with an ordinary broom, as this device consumes from 1.4 kWh to 2.5 kWh. You can, if possible, limit the use of hair dryers, curling irons, irons (1 kWh – 2.2 kWh) and other hair styling devices.

How to keep warm in the house

If they are, then a sealant should be glued around the perimeter of the door frames.

If you have batteries, you can install a heat-reflecting screen at the back, as well as move furniture away from them, remove curtains, that is, maximize access for the outflow of warm air. Even if you are against carpeting, at least cover the floor in those rooms where you will spend more time in winter.
