Traffic restrictions in Marathon and its environs in connection with the run on October 16

The Municipality of Marathon in northeast Attica will impose traffic restrictions on Sunday 16 October 2022, in connection with the 7th half marathon in the city of Marathon 2022.

Restrictions will include street closures and traffic to the city center will be via Phidippidou and Artemidos streets.

Marathonos Avenue (from the start point to the intersection with Αεροπορίας) will be closed at 8.00 am, athletes must be at the start site no later than 8.15 am.

The road at Artemis level will be closed and reopened at 11.10 am so that parents and children can reach the starting point of the marathon race (through the beach of Marathonos) at distances of 600 and 1500 meters.

Marathonos Avenue will open fully at approximately 12.15 pm.
