The doctor was the victim of a robbery in Crete. According to law enforcement, two masked men broke into the home of a 75-year-old doctor in the Chania region while he and his 74-year-old wife were at home.
The young woman returned to her home, face to face with two robbers. Taking advantage of her confusion, the attackers tied her with a belt, gagged her so that she would not scream, and using threats forced her to tell where the money was. For several minutes they scoured the house, smashing everything to smithereens, eventually found a small amount of money, as well as some jewelry, after which they disappeared, leaving the mistress of the house tied up.
The robbers, using force, tied the couple and began to search the house. The doctor managed to alert his daughter, who notified the police. The couple’s daughter was the first to arrive on the scene. At the same time, two robbers managed to escape.
As it became known, when the police arrived at the scene, the criminals and “the trace caught a cold.” Employees ΕΛΑΣ are now investigating to find and arrest their robbers. It is reported that the thieves took 1,000 euros in cash from the house.
