How to get a thousand euros: in October, the “new” voucher from ΔΥΠΑ

New program coming soon ΔΥΠΑ (formerly ΟΑΕΔ) will delight private sector employees with an interesting offer – the opportunity to receive 1000 euros.

Of course, the money will not just come. Private sector workers will have the opportunity to participate in the new program of retraining and advanced training. Upon completion, individuals will receive a voucher worth up to EUR 1,000.

The program is aimed at workers over 18 years of age in all sectors, with a focus on digital and environmental specialties in training.

The program includes:

  • Training in digital and “green skills” in demand in the labor market (50-250 hours).
  • Education allowance up to 1000 euros.
  • Certification of individuals in accordance with the international standard ISO/IEC 17024 or through internationally recognized digital skills certificates.
  • The implementation of advanced training programs will be carried out with full-time education in the amount of at least 35% of the total number of hours of each program and distance learning.

To participate in the program, you must contact training providers (known as KEK) and declare your interest in learning the program.

Private sector workers with seasonal employment are also eligible, even if they receive a special seasonal allowance.

Applicants must meet the following three basic conditions:

  1. Workers in the private sector.
  2. Age over 18 years.
  3. Lyceum graduates.

It makes no difference whether the employee works on a full-time or part-time, open-ended or fixed-term contract. However, they must have the status of an employee both when applying and when entering the program.
