Easy Summer Chicken Recipe with Bamyes and Tomatoes

The Internet edition “Afinskie Novosti” continues to publish culinary recipes from Irina Fedotova: chicken with bayyos and tomatoes.

I show how I cook chicken in the summer: my “meat-eaters” ask for this dish in the winter. Super delicious recipe for chicken with okra in the Greek version. Delicious, healthy and very easy!

RECIPE:

  • – chicken meat – 1 kg.
  • – frozen okra – 1 kg.
  • – balsamic vinegar – 30 grams
  • – onion – 1 head
  • – garlic – 2 cloves
  • – vegetable oil
  • – white wine – 60 gr.
  • – chopped tomatoes – 400 grams
  • – hot water
  • – salt pepper,
  • – a little sugar

FOR MARINADE:

  • – brown sugar – 1 teaspoon
  • – salt
  • – a mixture of seasonings for chicken – 1 teaspoon
  • – olive oil – 2 tbsp. l.
  • – balsamic vinegar – 30 grams

COOKING:

  • – Chicken pieces need to be marinated in advance. To do this, add brown sugar, salt, chicken seasoning mixture, olive oil, balsamic vinegar. We leave for half an hour.
  • – Fry the onion, garlic, put the chicken pieces, fry them lightly, add the wine, chopped tomatoes and hot water.
  • – Salt and pepper, put a little sugar and boil the chicken until almost cooked.
  • – Fry the frozen okra in a pan in vegetable oil for 3-4 minutes, sprinkle it with balsamic vinegar and send it to the pan with chicken.
  • – Stir very gently or shake the pan, if necessary, add water so that it only covers the bamies. Cook for 20-25 minutes.
