The forecast of Clearchos Marousakis draws attention: from the hot summer on Saturday we will be transported to Sunday autumn bad weather. The meteorologist notes that the weather will change dramatically in just one night – intense heat with high humidity will lead to dangerous storms. The north wind will continue on Monday, the temperature will be in line with the season.
On Saturday, the first calendar day of autumn, in most regions of the country the air will warm up to 33°С-35°С. It will be hot in central, eastern and southern Greece. However, shortening of daylight hours and southerly winds will contribute to high humidity, so that the heat will be perceived as uncomfortable. Fog is expected on Saturday, especially in the south and east, and in the Aegean Sea.
Weather changes will begin on the night from Saturday to Sunday, manifested by dangerous storms and a strong northerly wind. Bad weather “starts” in the north and west of the country, gradually spreading and reaching the regions of the Peloponnese by Sunday evening.
