Honored Artist of Russia Boris Moiseev dies at the age of 68

Russian singer Boris Moiseev passed away yesterday afternoon, his death was announced by art director Sergei Gorokh, who discovered the body of the artist.

Recently, 68-year-old Boris Moiseev suffered a third stroke, and Peas came to visit him in an apartment on Krasnoproletarskaya Street, RIA Novosti reported. He began his career as a dancer and gained fame by participating in the Alla Pugacheva show as part of the Expression dance trio, created by him, famous in the USSR. Since the 1990s, Moiseev has pursued a singing career. His most famous songs are “Blue Moon” (with Nikolai Trubach), “Child of Vice”, “Two Candles” (with Alla Pugacheva).

Boris Moiseev is an Honored Artist of Russia and a multiple winner of the Ovation and Golden Gramophone music awards. According to open sources, in 2010 the artist suffered a stroke. The second – in 2015, writes BB.LV.

Moiseev was one of the first queer artists in modern Russia, while he was a member of the United Russia party, notes air forcereferring to the newspaper “Kommersant”.
