Lisa liked the neighborhood with the villagers in Ioannina

In the village of Kuklis in Ioannina, a very smart and cute little wild fox managed to “impose” his presence as a pet in one of the village houses with her tenacity.

But a resident of Halkidiki (Northern Greece) made a close friendship … with three foxes, which she told about on the Internet. According to halkidikinews.gr, the woman has been “friends with foxes” for several years, which are massively distributed in the area. In particular, in the foothills of Kakkavos, where there are fox holes. Nevertheless, the foxes freely enter Mrs. Adrakhta’s house in search of a treat.

The owners of the house may have been worried at first by the little intruder (unlike the house cat, which, as you will see in our video, shared food with him from the very beginning), but then they healed together.

Today, almost a month after its first appearance, the fox still visits the hospitable owners of the house in the evenings to eat the food prepared for him by the villagers.

“A few years ago we started to observe various wild animals that roamed near the village of Megali Panagia. One day I saw a roe deer near the fence of the house. Many times the hares ran. And now the foxes have got into the house, and I feed them,” says Ms. Adrakhta.

At first, only one fox appeared, which was dragging fruits from the garden. And then she brought her relatives. And now foxes come to the house almost every day. “They quietly sneak into the house, usually at dusk. Sometimes early in the morning. They eat ripe fruits that have fallen from trees. Then I myself began to feed them – I poured the remnants of food into a bowl. The foxes were happy and gradually began to eat with us. Now everyone has their own saucer. After eating, the foxes sit and watch us, life in the house,” says the nature lover.

The fact that the foxes have become quite tame worries Mrs. Adrakhta a little. According to her, foxes now tend to trust everyone, but someone can offend them. In addition, having learned to eat prepared food from a saucer, they lose their hunting skills in the wild.
