Astute people have found a new way to trick unsuspecting citizens and extract sensitive personal data, financial information, or even security codes through phone calls, according to complaints which were filed recently with the Electronic Crime Squad.
According to the statement ELAS telephone calls are carried out from landlines or mobile phones using a recorded message in English or Greek.
