“Romeo and Juliet” from the island of Kos: a 14-year-old schoolgirl ran away with a 20-year-old boy

Puzzle pieces are being pieced together in the case of the disappearance of a 14-year-old girl who was lost last Friday on the Greek island of Kos.

As it turned out from the statements received, the missing schoolgirl of Albanian origin ran away with a 20-year-old compatriot and is not going to return home, leaving her parents to live in alarm.

According to dimokratiki.gr, from the statements they have on hand, the police are convinced that they are in Athens. This version is also supported by the fact that the lovers boarded the ferry from Kos at 19.50 on September 9, i.e. on the same day that “Juliet” stopped being in touch with her parents. The ferry arrived in Piraeus at 09.40 the next morning.

The statement, which the 49-year-old father of the young man wrote and submitted to Kos police, says his son called him last Saturday and said that he was with his girlfriend, while not indicating their location. At the same time, he told his father that the minor was healthy and that she did not want to return to her home. Since then, the relationship of relatives with their children has disappeared.

From my side Missing schoolgirl’s parents talk about kidnapping. According to the mother of a minor who reported her disappearance last Sunday, the last time she saw her daughter was at 7 am on Friday, when she left home for work. At 08.30 the girl called her and said that she would go to the sea with her friends. However, seeing that time was running out and her daughter had not contacted her, the worried woman called again at 3:30 pm on the mobile phone of a friend with whom her daughter was spending time, asking them to return home. Since then, the mother could no longer contact her daughter.

The authorities began searching for the lovers, while denying that there could be signs of a crime (misleading and kidnapping a minor).
