In a statement, Deputy Regional Governor for Tourism Alexandros Thanos said that specific visitors from Europe, especially from Germany, represent a different tourism model because they choose destinations with campsites and take longer vacations, as opposed to traditional tourists who prefer air travel. with accommodation booking.

For her part, the Deputy Governor of Pieria, Sophia Mavridou, emphasized that every year more and more visitors from all over the world prefer organized and high-quality campsites in the region of Central Macedonia and especially Pieria.
