“Church of Nations”: the victim of “exorcists” is missing

Complaints about Church of the Nations and there is no end to exorcists. Dozens of new facts of fraud are revealed, and one of the victims of this sect has gone missing.

According to police information, the authorities currently control the finances of the “Church of Nations”, where each “exorcism” wishing to get rid of “evil spirits” paid 4,000 euros.

The journalist of the Mega TV channel contacted the victim of the sect, who, although she agreed to speak live, in the end, she never showed up, and has been missing since Tuesday yesterday. As the journalist pointed out, the woman was very frightened and said that after her adventures with the sect, she changed her phone number and deleted Skype so that they could not find her.

The encounter with the exorcists took place at a campsite, where a woman approached her, saying that she could not see well and must have been bewitched. It is noted that the victim in question was the first to disclose information about the amounts required by the sect to rid their victims of evil spirits. According to her, they asked her 4000 euros to destroy witchcraft, and in order for Haris to perform his infamous exorcism, they even asked her to sell her house.

“And he says to me:“ I read your card, they bewitched you with black magic, but we can’t solve these for free, it’s expensive, ”and he told me the amount of 4 thousand. I say: “Where can I get this money?”. And he turns around and says: “Okay, we can agree.” I say, “I don’t work.” “My lady,” he says, “do you have gold to give?” I believed and started crying because I have no money. At the first meeting, they asked me if I have a house, he says: “If you bring documents to the house, we will leave them with us until you can pay off the debt.”

Fortunately, the applicant’s children, having learned about the situationat the last moment dissuaded her from the trip. “We agreed that a taxi would come and pick me up to transfer the jewelry and documents to the house. My daughter came up and caught up with me. We didn’t talk after that.”

Fanatical believers

Many members of the sect firmly believe in their leader. Charalambos Tsakonidis and his activities. Characteristic is the testimony of a man who claims that the Church of the Nations gave him 200,000 euros to cover the costs of the operation he had to undergo.

“These people helped me financially a lot. The hospital expenses were paid directly into my account and I had the surgery. There were about 200,000. HA few days later, in a new telephone conversation with the same follower of the sect, they decreased, as if by magic, and eventually turned into 2500 euros” , – reported on 08/26/22 a follower of the church of nations. On 8/30/22 he said: “I didn’t care if it was a church or not. I took care of people who sent a small amount of money and helped me raise enough to leave for the operation. They sent me two and a half thousand … “.

Sect leader Charalambos Tsakonidis is expected to appear in court on November 14 on charges of operating a religious center without a permit. As we reported on August 27, the police arrested the leadership of the sectwhich was located on the outskirts of Thessaloniki, in the area of u200bu200bthe Macedonia airport.

As writes Thestival.gr, there were 25 believers inside. Police officers from A.T. Thermida handcuffed 24-year-old Dimitris Panapakidis, the “right hand” (excuse the tautology) of the head of the sect, who declared himself interim head. A little later, Charalambos Tsakonidis, head of the “Church of Nations”, voluntarily introduced himself to the police and was also handcuffed. Two more men were arrested for violating the law on religious freedom.

As we reported previouslya sect of Nigerian origin organized in the central square of Aristotle in Thessaloniki, admittedly “unique” for Greece, an event: “exorcisms” in the open air.
