The countdown to the announcement (annual report) of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on ΔΕΘ has already begun.
According to the financial staff is considering the possibility of providing an allowance for the purchase of food.
If this is possible, the most vulnerable social groups, after the fuel and electricity allowance, will receive food.
It will be, if such a decision is made, a subsidy for the purchase of food for the most vulnerable households. It will be issued according to strict financial and social criteria.
However, it remains to be seen whether this will be a “fixed” amount of 200 euros or whether different scales will be created to increase the number of recipients, i.e. enough for everyone.
Government measures that will be in effect at least until Christmas:
- Continue subsidizing electricity and natural gas bills.
- Increased coverage of heating costs for both fuel oil and natural gas.
- The provision of FuelPass 3 will depend on how fuel prices are structured.
