Bad weather “struck” Mykonos. Endless streams of water and even tornadoes were observed by the guests and residents of the Island of the Winds, surprised by the rampant bad weather in the very “heart of summer”, in August.
As the shocking footage of the “open skies” shows, weather cataclysms have dramatically disrupted the usual wild life in Mykonos. Severe weather has put parties and beach activities on hold.
The owners of catering establishments, various shops, local residents, foreigners and Greek tourists watched in shock the flooding of the streets of Hora and severe storms that swept the island.
And of course, many people captured such a rare phenomenon on their phones, posting photos and videos on the Internet.
