Brutal beating in Crete, in the center of Heraklion

A 28-year-old man in the central region of Heraklion in Crete was the victim of a mobile phone theft and a brutal beating.

According to the message cretapost.gr, at dawn, he was walking through the Theotokopoulos park and he was attacked by two unknown men who began to strike and kick him. The young man tried to call the police, but the attackers grabbed his mobile phone and fled the scene.

Witnesses of the wild beating called the police and officers of the ΟΠΚΕ (crime prevention and suppression group) arrived at the scene. After a short search, the criminals were discovered and arrested, writes newsbeast.gr.
