The woman found the stolen bag and, when the police did not arrive, called the firemen

Who would have thought that a bag found on the road would turn into an “adventure” for a 36-year-old woman.

According to flamis.gr, the incident took place last Saturday. The young woman immediately contacted the police when she saw a bag on the side of the road, which was open, and objects were scattered near it. Apparently it was stolen from someone. The police officer replied that “the patrol car will be able to arrive at 15:00”.

The woman decided to wait. When 90 minutes had passed, at 3:30 pm, her patience ran out and she contacted law enforcement again. She was answered by the same female police officer and again asked … the address of the scene.

“I’m guessing that because you didn’t write down the address, you didn’t notify anyone,” the woman told her with obvious annoyance.

The applicant asked for the name of the female police officer, but she refused to give him. Then a male police officer picked up the phone and said that she should either take this bag to the police, or … wait until a patrol car is found or a patrol on a motorcycle arrives.

“How is this even possible? – the victim lamented, – why didn’t you immediately, at the time of my first appeal, say all this! I have been sitting and watching the stolen bag for 1.5 hours. Is this generally normal?”

The victim literally “melted” with anger and decided to call … firefighters. She called 199, and indeed, a fire engine immediately arrived at the scene, and the brave guys did the work of the police. In fact, they managed to find the owner of the bag, whom they called to the scene to collect it.
