The “Message of Peace” was sent by a Russian woman and a Ukrainian who married on Saturday in Molivos (Lesbos).
Tatyana F. from Russia and Yuriy K. from Ukraine exchanged vows of eternal love yesterday at a wedding ceremony held at sunset in an enchanting setting. The couple sent a message to the whole world that even the greatest difficulties can be overcome with the help of love, which is stronger than war.
“When people unite, they fight for world peace. I wish those who fight for freedom to be happy and feel the freedom that we feel. We wish that there will always be peace, and that everyone loves each other just like we do, ”said the couple.
According to ERT, the couple, who live in Belgium, decided to get married in Molivos at the insistence of their good friends. The wedding took place in a romantic setting. The bride was taken by boat to the pier of the Olive Press Hotel, where she was met by the groom. The ceremony itself took place against the backdrop of a stunning spectacle – a sea sunset.
Wedding organizer Gabriela Vati was also very happy, saying: “Molivos was a point of unity and love between Ukraine and Russia. The love that the couple feels they want to send to the whole world. Love conquers everything, even war.”
