Volos: debtor attacked ΔΕΗ employees, two women were injured

Due to a debt of 100 euros, a man who came to ΔΕΗbecame furious and attacked the employees of the institution with his fists.

According to thenewspaper.gr, a man in Volos came to the ΔΕΗ office for advice on how to become a consumer of the company’s services again after he entered into a contract with another electricity supplier.

However, the employees told the visitor that he had a debt of 100 euros, and first he had to pay it off. The man became furious and … moved on to resolving the issue “by force.” He violently smashed the glass partition and attacked the woman who was sitting behind it. An employee from a private security company who came to the rescue also got it – both victims were taken to the hospital for first aid.

The policemen called to the scene of the incident, alas, failed to immediately detain the brawler – he fled using the fire escape. However, this is only a matter of time. ΔΕΗ filed a complaint against him.

Earlier, our publication talked about how the court unanimously found guilty a 45-year-old resident of Kozani, who attacked tax inspectors with an ax in July last year. The Florina Court sentenced the defendant to life imprisonment and 26 years, of which 20 without parole.
