Beware of scammers! Criminals pose as employees of ΔΕΔΔΗΕ

The fraud associated with Power Pass consists in obtaining personal information of citizens, including bank details. Be careful!

Posing as employees of the Greek energy company ΔΕΔΔΗΕ (Διαχειριστής Ελληνικού Δικτύου Διανομής Ηλεκτρικής Ενέργειας), the criminals are trying to get personal data, referring to the Pass Power program.

Beware of scams. The ΔΕΔΔΗΕ company officially draws the attention of Greek consumers – it does not participate in the transfer of funds to the accounts of the beneficiaries of the Power Pass support program, does not request or clarify information related to bank accounts – IBAN, electronic banking and others. Don’t let scammers make you a victim of fraud, calls newsbeast.gr.

Our edition told earlierthat the Greeks don’t know whether to laugh or cry at the amounts of Power Pass benefits. The government promises that due to high taxes, it will provide citizens with “help” in the form of electricity or fuel allowances… Ridiculous amounts, about 65 euros, with monthly bills ΔΕΗ 500 euros and more!
