Weather: slight drop in temperature, clouds and occasional rain

Today, Sunday, clouds will appear in the sky over Greece, and local rains will pass. The temperature will remain high, the thermometer will drop only a couple of degrees.

In some areas, showers and thunderstorms, sometimes strong, will pass. According to the National Meteorological Service, these phenomena will be observed in the evening in western and central Macedonia, Thessaly, Sporades, eastern Sterea and Evia, where they will continue throughout the night and in places will be intense.

The rest of the country has clear weather, with local rains and showers in the Ionian Islands in the afternoon.

The wind is northern, in the west 3-5 points on the Beaufort scale, in the east 4-6, and in the Aegean Sea in some places up to 7 points during the day.

In the north and east of the mainland, the air temperature will drop slightly. In the north it will be 34-35°С, in the rest of the mainland and the Ionian Islands – 35-36°С, in the rest of the territory – 30°С-34°С.

ATTICA

Clear, partly cloudy. North wind, 4-5 points on the Beaufort scale, in some places up to 6 points. Temperature from 24°С to 34°С.

THESSALONIKI

Clear in the morning, partly cloudy in the afternoon. Rain and thunderstorms are predicted locally, in some places strong. The phenomena will continue at night. The wind is variable, with a force of 3 to 4 on the Beaufort scale. In the evening the north wind will increase to 4-5 points. Air temperature from 22°С to 34°С, reports newsbeast.gr.
