The chilling crime took place in a village near Thessaloniki. An 84-year-old woman was killed by her 59-year-old son in Xirohori Chalkidonas.
According to the preliminary conclusion of the forensic medical examination, the woman killed by her son received terrible injuries incompatible with life. The man literally crushed the head of an elderly woman. She experienced movement problems and vision problems. “He told me he was going to kill our mother and then me,” the brother of the villain told reporters, noting that he “had problems with alcohol, and earlier he was in a psychiatric hospital.” When asked how he killed his mother, he did not have an exact answer. “Fists or logs. Or maybe both,” he said.
Regarding the health problems of an elderly woman, another son of the deceased said that she had been blind for the last 6 years, and also had problems with movement. He also admitted that his mother was afraid of his brother, noting that the police came “many times” on a case involving domestic violence. In particular, he said that his brother also attacked him, driving him around the village with a stick.
