Weather forecast for four days

Today the mercury column of the thermometer is again in the red zone, however, local cooling rains are possible in the north of Greece.

High temperatures will continue in Greece on Monday. The sky is clear, with small clouds: in the morning in the north-east of the country, in the afternoon in the rest of the mainland. As the National Meteorological Service (EMY) predicts, local showers and sporadic thunderstorms are expected in central and eastern Macedonia and Thrace. North wind, 3-5 points on the Beaufort scale, in the Aegean Sea up to 6 points.

It will be a little cooler in the northeast, the temperature will not exceed 36°C. In other mainland regions it will reach 39-40°С, on the islands – 33-35°С, and on the Ionian Islands, Dodecanese and Crete – 35-37°С.

MACEDONIA, THRACY

In western Macedonia it is clear with some clouds in the afternoon and evening. Variable wind from 3 to 4 points. Temperature 20-38°C.

IONIAN ISLANDS, IPIROS, WESTERN STERIA, WESTERN PELOPONNESE

Clear weather, local clouds in the afternoon. Variable wind 3-4 points, in the Ionian Sea northwest, gusts up to 5 points on the Beaufort scale. Temperatures from 22°C to 40°C, in the Ionian Islands up to 37°C.

THESSALIA, EASTERN STERIA, EASTERN PELOPONNESE

The weather is clear, scattered clouds in the afternoon, mostly in the mountains. Variable wind force 3-4, in the north up to five. Temperature 22-40°С.

CYCLADES, CRETE

Sunny and clear. Wind north, 5-6 points. Temperature 24-33°C, in Crete up to 37°C.

EASTERN AEGEAN ISLANDS – DODECANES

The weather is clear with some clouds in the north. Wind north, 5-6 points. Temperature 24-36°C.

EVIA

Clear weather. North wind 3-4 points, in the south in some places up to 5-6 points. Temperature: 23-38°С.

ATTICA

The weather is clear with some clouds in the afternoon hours. Wind north / northeast, from 3 to 4 points, in the east in some places 5 points. Temperature 25-39°С, in places 40°С. In coastal areas it is 3-4 degrees lower.

THESSALONIKI

Gradual increase in cloudiness, local showers and thunderstorms by noon. Northwest wind 4 points. Temperature 23-37°C.

On Tuesday clear weather is expected with small clouds on the mainland in the midday and afternoon hours, local rains are possible in the mountains of Macedonia and Thrace. North wind from 3 to 5 Beauforts, in the Aegean Sea locally 6 points. The temperature will drop slightly, to 34-36°C in the north and 36-38° in the rest of the territory. In the lowlands of Thessaly and Sterea, temperatures will remain high and reach 39-40°C.

On Wednesday the weather will be clear. In the afternoon, clouds will appear on the mainland and local rains will pass, thunderstorms are possible in the mountains. Wind north 3-5 points. Temperatures will rise slightly, mostly in the east.

On Thursday clear weather expected. In the afternoon in the continental regions it will be cloudy and there will be local rains, in the central and northern mountains there will be separate thunderstorms. North wind, 3-5 points, in the Aegean Sea 6 points. The temperature will drop slightly, mainly in the north, forecasters predict.
