A pet “betrayed” its owner, albeit unwittingly. The robber went “on business”, taking with him a dog, which was later identified by witnesses of the incident.
According to the materials of the criminal case, a 31-year-old man, in the company of his 40-year-old friend, robbed a store. At the same time, this is not the first time – since April last year, the couple has committed at least 15 robberies.
In search of criminals, the police used all possible methods – compared the robbery with identical crimes, interviewed witnesses. It was they who suggested in which direction to move, identifying the chow-chow dog, with which the robbery was committed.
As a result, law enforcement officers managed to establish the location of the lovers of easy money, and the accomplices were arrested. In most cases, the criminals robbed shops in the eastern part of Thessaloniki. During the crime, their faces were covered with masks, and as a potential weapon, threatening the owners of outlets, they used knives or syringes.
In total, the robbers were able to earn 3,500 euros by doing their “fishing”. Yesterday they apologized to the investigator and were sent to prison as temporary prisoners. In the “justification” of their actions, both called the love of drugs. An investigation is underway cnn.gr.
