Ervin Magic Johnson is not only an NBA legend, but also the “best ambassador of Greece” in the summer of 2022. Together with his wife and friends, he has been traveling around the islands in the Aegean and Ionian seas since the beginning of July, having fun.

Today I had a life experience filled with so much ancient history. We visited the Acropolis of Athens, a hilltop fortified citadel with four temples. We saw historical sights, including the Parthenon, dedicated to the virgin Athena in 447 BC.
After visiting the Acropolis of Athens and posting several photos and informative texts, Magic Johnson received a phone call from Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, who welcomed him to the country.
“It was an honor and pleasure for me to receive an unexpected call from the Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, who welcomed me to the country and found out how my visit went. I told the prime minister it was amazing and life changing!” Johnson tweeted.

For his part, Mitsotakis wrote on his Instagram account:
I just spoke to NBA basketball legend @magicjohnson who was vacationing in Greece and thanked him for the kind words he said about our country and the love he showed for our country and its people, as well as for the wonderful photos and tweets, which he wrote while he was here. He told me about the truly amazing time he and his wife had during their last visit.
Mitsotakis and Johnson agreed to have lunch and play basketball together … Next time the NBA legend will be there. Ervin “Magic” Johnson Jr., 62, posts photos of almost every moment he spends in Greece, expressing his enthusiasm.

He is currently cruising the Ionian Sea on a yacht, having fun on the island of Lefkada after he, his wife and their friends visited Zakynthos.

Johnson has been touring the Aegean and now the Ionian Islands since early July, according to his Twitter and Instagram accounts.
We are celebrating in Greece! Tonight we all made a feast for our souls!
We can say that Magic Johnson deserved the honorary title of “Best Ambassador of Greece in the summer of 2022”.
