A 25-year-old foreigner was shot in Thessaloniki, and then they collected shell casings

A few minutes after midnight on Wednesday, a bloody shooting incident took place in Thessaloniki. According to police, in the Neapoli area, three people were running down the street, with at least one firing a pistol at a 25-year-old man.

According to the residents of the microdistrict, they saw the victim running towards the central El street. Venizelu and two other men pursued him.

A reinforced squad of police arrived at the scene of the shooting and, having collected evidence, began an extensive search for those involved in the crime. At the same time, the police cordoned off the area where the shots were heard and examined all possible points, but the shells were not found.

Information being studied by the police indicates that one of the three allegedly involved in the bloody incident, before leaving the scene, turned around and collected shell casings to cover his tracks.

The wounded young man managed to run from Neohoridou Street to the main road of Eleftherio Venizelo and was finally found 400 meters from the starting point, at a gas station on the height of Lagada.

The ΔΙ.ΑΣ special group, called to the scene, reported to the emergency headquarters that he had several gunshot wounds. And for hundreds of meters, blood stains were visible in many places on the sidewalk.

EKAB ambulances arrived at the scene and took the young man to Papageorgiou Hospital in Thessaloniki. According to police, the victim, who received three bullet wounds to the chest and back of the chest, was hospitalized in serious condition.

Recall that on Monday night there was a bloody incident with shooting inside the Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, on Himeio Square.
