Greek health authorities announced on Tuesday 25,566 cases of coronavirus infection, plus 5,022 reinfections in the last 24 hours, for a total of 30,588 infections.
During the same period, there were 19 Covid-related deaths. The number of intubated Covid patients in hospital intensive care units is 98.
While daily infections and hospitalizations have increased in recent weeks, the number of daily deaths averages around 20, while the total number of intubations remains mostly below 100.

The National Health Organization (EODY) said on Thursday that all confirmed infections since the start of the pandemic stood at 3,755,074 (daily change: + 0.7%) .
25,566 new coronavirus infections + 5,022 re-infections in the last 24 hours.
The 309 cases confirmed in recent days were included in the bulletin on Tuesday.

19 deaths registered in the last 24 hours and 3 in previous days, increased the total number of victims of the pandemic to 30,349 people . Of these, 95.7% had an underlying disease and/or were 70 years of age or older.
On ventilators in hospitals are 98 patients with Covid-19. Their median age is 71 years and 90.8% have an underlying disease and/or are 70 years of age or older.
Of the total number of intubated 37 (37.76%) are not vaccinated or partially vaccinated and 61 (62.24%) are fully vaccinated.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,738 people have been discharged from intensive care units.
309 Covid patients were hospitalized in the last 24 hours (daily change: +20.23 %. The average number of Covid-19 patients admitted to hospitals in the last 7 days was 292.
The median age of new infections is 37 years (range 0.2 to 112 years) and the median age of deaths is 80 years (range 0.2 to 106 years).
