The SBU established the circumstances of the missile attack on the mall in Kremenchuk and showed the video

The Security Service of Ukraine stated that Russian Tu-22M3 bombers launched missiles at the Amstor shopping center in Kremenchug from the airspace of the Kursk region of Russia:

“X-22 missiles were launched from Tu-22M3 bombers that took off from the Shaikovka airfield in the Kaluga region of the Russian Federation. The missiles themselves were fired in the airspace of the Kursk region.”

The agency released a video with the moment of impact, which shows that the rocket hit exactly in the shopping center, where at that moment there were many visitors.

The security service compared satellite images of the city before and after the shelling, refuting the fabrications of Russian propaganda about the allegedly idle shopping center.

The SBU showed a video of the shelling of the plant – it clearly shows that there were no warehouses with military equipment there – the plant produced asphalt mixing plants. Ivan Bakanov, head of the Security Service of Ukraine, stated, quoted “UP”: “The Russian army is a bunch of terrorists who will definitely be punished for their crimes.”

Law enforcement agencies carefully document all evidence of the crimes of the Russian Federation. Earlier on June 29, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that he did not consider the hit of a Russian missile in the Amstor shopping center, where more than 20 people died, a terrorist attack. Putin continues to assert that the Russian army does not fire at civilian targets, but “precision weapons” reach their targets.

On June 27, the Russians inflicted two missile strikes at the Amstor shopping center in Kremenchug, on the same day, 13 dead and more than 40 injured were known. President Volodymyr Zelensky and the mayor of the city, Vitaliy Maletsky, said that many visitors managed to leave the shopping center in Kremenchuk before Russian missiles hit it. In the evening, more than 40 applications were received from citizens about the disappearance of their relatives.

Missile arrivals were recorded in Kremenchug after 15:30. The authorities of the Poltava region immediately announced that they had hit a civilian object, and also confirmed the presence of victims. Shortly after news of the strike broke, Ukraine’s First Deputy Foreign Minister Emine Dzhaparova said the missiles hit the Amstor shopping center. The exact number of victims is still impossible to establish. According to the president, thousands of people could have been there at the time of the impact. Rescue work continues. The second missile damaged the building of JSC “Kredmash”, which produced spare parts for civilian vehicles.

In Russia, they first reported that they struck “at hangars with weapons and ammunition received from the United States and European countries.” Then in the Russian Federation they called the shopping center “non-working”, “standby”, and the video of the first minutes after the shelling and the screams of bloodied civilians – “fake”.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine has already identified the names of Russian pilots who launched missiles at a shopping center in Kremenchug. Prosecutor General Irina Venediktova is convinced that a missile attack on the Amstor shopping center can be considered by the UN International Criminal Court as a crime against humanity.
