How it was: Zelensky showed a video of a missile attack on the mall

President Volodymyr Zelensky has shown video footage of a deadly Russian missile attack on a shopping center in Kremenchuk.

In his speech yesterday evening, the Ukrainian President said, paying special attention to the missile attack on mall:

“As of this evening, the total number of Russian missiles that hit our cities is already 2,811. And how many more air bombs, how many artillery shells?! Today, the UN Security Council stood to honor the memory of all Ukrainians killed by the Russian army on our soil. Members of the Russian delegation looked around on all those present in the Security Council hall and also decided to rise – just so as not to look like killers frankly. But everyone knows that this is Russian terror, it is the Russian state that is killing innocent people in this war unleashed against the Ukrainian people. Today I I want to end this appeal with one of such evidence – so that no one dares to lie about the missile strike on the shopping center in Kremenchuk. The Russian missile hit exactly this object – purposefully. Obviously, that was the order. Obviously, such coordinates were received by the Russian assassins for this missile .They wanted to kill more people in a peaceful city in an ordinary mall.”

The President noted that all those involved in the missile attacks on civilian targets and those who justify this act of terrorism will be punished. He assured that the Ukrainian authorities have all the names and surnames that made the decision to commit missile attack across Kremenchug.

Daniil Getmantsev, head of the parliamentary committee on finance, tax and customs policy, said in response to assurances from the Russian side that the mall was closed:

“A certain citizen Lavrov (Russian Foreign Minister) stated that the Russian strike on the Amstor shopping center in Kremenchug was not a terrorist attack due to the fact that Amstor allegedly did not work. However, according to the State Tax Service, 58 cash registers were working in the shopping center on the day of the attack , the total revenue of which amounted to 2.9 million UAH. Yes, you were not mistaken. For 1 day – 2.9 million UAH., A non-working shopping center. “

The Russian Defense Ministry said earlier that on June 27 in Kremenchug, the Aerospace Forces of the Russian Federation struck not at a shopping center, but at hangars with weapons and ammunition received from the United States and European countries, in the area of the Kremenchug plant of road vehicles. Allegedly, the detonation of “western-made weapons and ammunition” caused a fire “in a non-functioning shopping center located next to the plant.”
