Panic on film set "Wedding in Greek-3": the boat with the actors capsized

Five minutes before the tragedy happened in Anavyssos during the filming of the film “Greek Wedding 3”, when two boats collided with 16 actors. One was injured as a result of the incident.

The incident took place around 10 am on Friday (24/6) in the seaside area of Palea Fokea near Anavyssos. Two speedboats collided, resulting in one overturning and all passengers stranded at sea. The boats participated in the filming of the film “Greek Wedding-3”, and the accident occurred due to a miscalculation of the drivers.

Two boats, on board of which there were 16 people, actors and technical staff of the film crew, had to develop speed at some point so that “their paths gracefully crossed.” But something seems to have gone wrong, as the drivers miscalculated their course, resulting in a collision.

Thus, the boat capsized, the passengers were in the water. The Coast Guard picked them up and they are all healthy except for one person who was slightly injured and taken to the hospital by ambulance. Currently, he is still in a state of shock.

Recall that the filming of the film “Γάμος αλά Ελληνικά 3” began a few days ago in Rafina, and the port was turned into a film set. From early Wednesday morning, dozens of vans, vehicles with special equipment and a mobile dressing room were near the set, and two ships, the Amphitrity and the Panorama, were also involved.
