State Department approved the sale of “smart” bombs to countries with which the United States has agreements for the supply of weapons, including Greece, the US Security and Defense Cooperation Service said in a related statement.
According to the Greek TV channel MEGAThe US has approved the sale of smart bombs to NATO countries as well as friendly countries for an estimated cost of $22.7 million.

Smart bombs cost Greece $15 million
According to MEGA sources, the Greek Air Force is going to buy “smart bombs” with an estimated cost of $15 million. Basically, these are sub-caliber bombs, the purpose of which is to destroy armored objects – headquarters, warehouses and aircraft hangars. In addition, it is planned to acquire “smart bombs” of a lighter type, for less armored targets.
