Microsoft ends support for Internet Explorer

IE is officially out of business. Microsoft has suspended Internet Explorer on June 15, 2022. It was officially declared “obsolete”.

This is stated in the message. Microsoft:

“After 25+ years of helping people use the internet, Internet Explorer (IE) is officially deprecated and no longer supported as of today, June 15, 2022. Thanks to the many millions of you for using Internet Explorer as your gateway to the internet” .

The browser was launched in 1995 and became dominant for more than a decade, as it was associated with the Microsoft Windows operating system installed on billions of computers. In the late 2000s, Internet Explorer began to lose Google Chrome. Because of the slowness, memes appeared on him.

In 2015, Microsoft launched the Edge browser, which runs on the same technology as Google. Earlier it was reported that in the new Windows 10 operating system, the Internet Explorer browser will be renamed.
