Rampant gangsterism among minors in Thessaloniki is shocking. Organized groups of teenagers terrify the families of the townspeople, whose children were attacked by monsters.
As part of the investigation into allegations of criminal acts committed against minors aged 13-15 years (between June 2021 and early February 2022 in the Tumpa area), the police of the local security department opened a case against four Greeks aged 16 up to 17 years old.
According to the publication Thestivalthe guys accused of violence, acting alone and in a group, overtook their potential victims in school complexes, in Internet cafes and even in homes.
Juvenile delinquents blackmailed children directly (or online), in some cases demanding money. Teenagers were threatened with the use of physical force, and in some cases – cold weapons, a knife.
Characteristic of their actions was the infliction of bodily harm to their victims in retaliation for not paying the required money. The victims of the bandits were subjected to bullying and violence.
In one of the cases, exerting psychological pressure on a minor, the guys forced the girl to use cannabis, as a result of which she lost consciousness, and had sexual intercourse (in the summer of 2021), which was filmed.
In another case, one of the defendants forcibly took a minor to the suburban forest of Sheikh-Shu and, threatening with the use of weapons, persuaded him to act of a sexual nature.
The materials of the case were transferred to the prosecutor’s office for further investigation and punishment of those responsible.
